I'm the author of two children's picture books, with more in the pipeline. As a mom and former kindergarten teacher, I have witnessed firsthand the powerful impact children’s stories can have on young minds. As an author, my goal is to write books that not only spark the imagination but also nurture empathy, and cultivate essential life skills through engaging stories and relatable characters. I aim to explore diverse themes and perspectives to broaden young minds and foster a love of reading from an early age.

This book deals with the topic of being different, finding one's voice and the importance of acceptance. Leigh has a warm and friendly manner with the children, encouraged questions and also brought some interactive games to complement the story. What I offer:

I offer engaging reading sessions tailored to individual classes or larger groups through an interactive presentation. Following the reading, I include a hands-on activity that allows students to apply the knowledge they’ve gained.

Below are two options for the author visit, depending on your preferences and what works best for your school:

Option 1: Author Visit (No Book Sales or Marketing)

This visit includes an author reading and related interactive activities. If there is no opportunity for book sales or distribution of marketing materials (such as a flyer with book information), the fee is €450 for a full day or €300 for a half day (or a portion of the day, depending on your schedule).

Option 2: Author Visit (With Book Sales and Marketing)

If book sales are permitted, with prior notification to parents and a flyer (including a brief description of my book and a QR code), the fee is €195. For book sales, I offer signed paperback copies at a reduced rate of €10 each. Parents can place orders via the QR code before the visit to ensure convenience and affordability.I am flexible and can tailor the reading sessions to meet your school’s specific needs!
